Our team was tasked with creating a lower level that did not feel like a basement and could serve a variety of needs. Included in this level are a laundry room, family room, guest bedroom, guest bathroom, and storage for the client’s amazing and sentimental collection of items. We kept the space light and bright, with doses of high contrast for visual interest. The mid-century influences and eclectic style of these clients made for a space that was uniquely them and packed a design punch. This fun and dynamic design landed us the award from the Master Builders Association for the Best Basement Renovation of 2021
